Milk (provisional data). In february 2012 the cows' milk collected decreased by 1.0% year over year. Decreasing drinking milk (-0.3%) and increasing the cows' milk cheeses (+0.2%)

Foreign trade (provisional data). In December 2011 a increse in imports of pigs (+4.0%) year over year. A decrease in imports of bovine animals (-6.1%), goats (-42.7%), domestic poultry (-34.9%), horsemeat(-3.0%).

Bovine animals. In January 2012 287 thousands of cattle heads were slaughtered (-14.7% year over year). Total dead weight was 821 thousands of quintals (-13.4%)
